Sacred Hearts Annual Fall Festival 2010

The Sacred Hearts Annual Fall Festival is a great family event!  The festival begins on Saturday, September 11th with our 12th Annual Holy Cow Fun Run.  This 5k run/2 mile walk is open to all abilities; from serious runners to casual strollers.  It's a good way for families to jump start the festival weekend.  Visit our website at www.sacred-hearts.org for a registration form or register the day of the race.  Registration begins at 7 a.m. and the race begins at 8 a.m.  Those registering by August 20th will receive a free t-shirt.

The festival grounds open at 11 a.m. on Saturday with kids games and prizes, a visit from the Banana Lady, a farmer's market, craft and raffle booths, Karate America demo,and food court.  We'll be serving brats, burgers, hot dogs, bbq chicken or beef
sandwiches, hot beef sandwiches and beer!

NEW THIS YEAR!  Sassy Cow Creamery will be providing our ice cream.  Of course we'll be back with our popular root beer floats and hot apple pie sundaes!

Our Vendor Faire will be in full swing from 11 a.m.-3 p.m.  20+ vendors under one big tent. You get to shop, the kids get to play!

We'll be playing bingo from 6-10 p.m.

Our live entertainment begins at 6 p.m. with the "sounds of the islands" from Steely Pan.  Then, back for the second year, is RACHELLE AND THE RED HOT RATTLERS!  The Rattlers will perform contemporary country covers and some original music from 8 - 11:30 p.m.

Festival grounds open again on Sunday, September 12th at 10 a.m.  We're back with more food and fun!  A polka mass will be held in the church at 11 a.m. and then the Polka Mass-ters will continue on the grounds from 1:30 - 3:30.

Raffle drawings begin at 3 p.m. with our GRAND PRIZE drawing at 5 p.m.  GRAND PRIZE this year is $10,000!  Tickets may be purchased at the Sacred Hearts Parish Center,
221 Columbus Street in Sun Prairie, or festival weekend.  Tickets are $5 each or 6 for $25.  There are alot more cash prizes, jewelry and a 1/2 beef on the raffle ticket this year!

Doodlebug the Clown will be here Sunday afternoon to entertain the kids and we'll be playing more Bingo from noon-5 p.m.

The festival grounds are located next to Sacred Hearts Church at the day care; 315 Columbus Street.
